This year, we are planning multiple fundraisers benefiting the 2011-2012 Collective Philanthropy Project.

Is fear a factor for YOU?

Every year, we have a major fundraising event at the end of the conference weekend. This VIA-1 Conference, we are proud to present to you the VIA-1 Fear Factor.

In order to participate, you must be:

  • A VIA-1 Attendee
  • In good standing health
  • Willing to sign an additional waiver form

The top five fundraisers will do a combination of daring physical and mental challenges specially designed by UVSA Midwest. We will accept donations online or credit and cash donations during the conference. The deadline to receive all donations (online or in person) will be until 8am EST Sunday, March 18, 2012.

All proceed go to the Midwest VIA-1 Donation to the Collective Philanthropy Project.

Banquet Service Auction

Wish you could pay someone to do some pesky tasks on your to do list? Now you can at the VIA-1 Banquet Service Auction.

As we get volunteers, we’ll post their names and pictures – however, the services will be kept secret until the VIA-1 Banquet in Cincinnati, Ohio. We will accept cash and credit payments. All proceeds will go towards the Midwest VIA-1 donation to the Collective Philanthropy Project..

In order to participate, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Be a VIA-1 attendee
  • Service must be appropriate (must be approved by a UVSA eBoard member prior to the auction)
Examples:
Photoshoot
2 dozen baked goods
Hair/Makeup Design
Graphic design for 2 printed materials
Dedicated live song performance
Sketch/draw/paint from any chosen image or photo
**Options are limitless!
If you are interested in participating at the Service Auction, please contact us at staff@uvsamidwest.org with your name, email address, and service description. You can also volunteer at the event but you must speak with a UVSA Executive Board member prior to being auctioned.
